This year Samsung has achieved great success in the market of high-end mobile phone. So people are more looking forward to the new flagship: Galaxy S7 Edge. Recently SCAVidsHD made two conception video about Galaxy S7 Edge. Let’s have a look at them.

In the video, the shape of Galaxy S7 Edge stays the same with Galaxy S6 Edge. In the front, there is an Edge dual-curved screen and the top speaker, sensor, and the distribution of button still maintain the old tradition and feature of Samsung. As for the back, it is a pity that the camera is a little gibbous with Glass material.

Unlimited on this, SCAVidsHD also made some guess in the configuration of Galaxy S7 Edge. In terms of SCAVidsHD, Galaxy S7 Edge may be equipped with a Super AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, front camera with 8 megapixels and rear camera with 21 megapixels. Of course, the type C USB is also added into it.

Overall these speculations sound like reasonable. What should be noted is Galaxy S7 will appear together with Galaxy S7 Edge. The difference between them is not large. According to the recent news, Galaxy S7 may have two versions which aim for American market and Chinese market.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will Be Equipped with Iris Recognition and Upgraded Processor

When fingerprint identification has popularized in middle-end mobile phones, cellphone vendors naturally start to seek for new functions to make a breakthrough. Compared with Apple which adds pressure touch technology in new generation of iPhone, Korean vendors all chose the iris recognition as gimmick. At present it is reported that Samsung and LG are developing iris recognition technology. The relative mobile phone may be launched next year.

As a matter of fact, there are rumors that appeared in Samsung in earlier times. During the press conference of Galaxy S5, some rumor about iris recognition technology had come out. However, this news ended in nothing. Afterwards, similar rumor about iris recognition technology had appeared again in Galaxy Note 4. But the reality disappointed users once again.

Though there was too much rumor about iris recognition technology which proved to be dummy, it seems that this time Samsung will turn it on. If no accident, new Galaxy S7 will adopt this technology next year.

According some reports, the iris recognition technology will be safer than fingerprint identification technology, which can correspond to the mobile payment markets. Furthermore, a new Samsung processor has come out, which is called Exynos M1. From the preliminary test we can find it scored higher marks than Exynos 7420. Of course, the flexible OLED screen will be also added in new Galaxy S7.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Will Upgrade in CPU to Give iPhone 6S Tit for Tat

Samsung seems to like fighting with Apple all the way. It is said that the next generation of iPhone will adopt dual lens designing to obtain better picture quality like DSLR camera. Dual lens research early appeared on HTC. Though it hadn’t achieved a great success but now this trend has been a hot in the future. After the rumor that Apple may furnish the next generation iPhone dual lens, now Samsung seems to take interests in this project. And Galaxy probably adopts this technology. According to the report of inews 24, the technology Samsung is researching is not similar with HTC M8 but add much new functions such as PWM, allowing for smooth zoom, tracking and bokeh.

For the moment, the dual lens technology research is not sure. One of spokesman of Samsung pointed that there were still four kinds of camera conception which were on a test and it is predicted that next year it will be applied on real products. So we can conclude that lens will be a key point for Samsung to make a breakthrough in the future.

In addition, the new processor for next generation flagship mobile phone also made a progress. It is reported that nowadays a new kind of processor Exyons M1 has appeared in the ARM CPU, which was regarded as the first product of Mongoose processor. In terms of the testing outcome, this new product performs better in single core than Galaxy S6.

According to the previous experience, developers will make a test before the shipment. It is said that this new Exyons M1 processor will be based on ARMV8 network architecture and add the stream processor for heterogeneous computing between CPU and GPU.
