The PC shipment of Apple Has Risen in Second Quarter

It is reported by IDC that the worldwide PC shipment has fallen 11.8%, reaching 66.1 million units. However, Apple Mac sold well and the shipment has increases to 16.1%, reaching 5.14 million units.

According to the data from IDC, Apple is the unique brand which has realized the growth in shipment. Apple ranked fourth among all worldwide PC vendors. And the top 3 are Lenovo, HP and Dell, Acer ranked behind Apple.

Though the PC shipment of Lenovo, HP and Dell has slide from the earlier year, the market shares of them still increased. The reason for that is their decline was lower than the global situation.

In terms of IDC’s analysis data, the market share of Lenovo is 20.3% in Q2 2015, declining 0.9% from the earlier year. The shipment of Lenovo has fallen down 7.5%. HP took 18.5% market share in Q2 2015. And the shipment of HP has dropped 10.4 %.

In the view of IDC, the worldwide PC shipment in Q2 2015 declined 11.8% from the earlier year, which is beyond the expectation. Compared with the business of last year, the worldwide shipment of PC declined sharply because of Microsoft’s cancelling supporting Windows XP system last year. Besides, the dollar’s stronger tendency also led to the higher prices for personal PCs, reducing the purchasing power of parts to the market.
