IPhone 5 LCD Test



Anti-Static wrist strap, avoid the damage for electronic connect the LCD to mainboard by testing cable to make sure all pins fit well.


Turn iPhone on. Press and hold the Sleep /Wake button until the Apple logo appears, then wait until the slider appears.





Drag the slider and unlock iPhone.Tap Photo App to open it. Pre-store black, white and grey photos in the App.


Drag white photo to view full screen. Check if any deal pixel, dust, etc.
 
Tap black photo to view full screen. Check if there is any dead pixel or dust or any light-leaking.


Drag grey photo to view full screen. Check if any line, flicker, color deviation or the inequality of backlight.


Return to home screen. Check each icon if any double image or any other problem; Tap phone calls to open it. Tap each number key to check if all match.


Tap message to open it. Tap each letter on the onscreen keyboard to see if all match and under-controlled.


Return to the home screen. Touch and hold any app until it jiggles, then drag Apps around. Check if smoothly and stably enough.


Return to the home screen. Swipe down from the edge of the screen to open notification center to check if it works.


Swipe up from the button edge of the screen to open control center to check it works. Turn iPhone off. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slider appears, then drag the slider.


Take off the screen, protector to check if any dust, scratch, and bubble inside; check the sensor hole to see if it’s transparent.


Check the appearance to see if there is frame problem, flex-broken, connector-broken, screw-loose, etc.
