How Many Users Plan To Buy iWatch?
According to the latest consumer survey data from investment firm Piper Jaffray, there are 7% of iPhone users intend to buy Apple Watch which would be on sale in the beginning of next year, and this is 1% lower than before while comparing to the research in September. This may also show us that more users are prefer to wait for Apple's full disclosure of both the functions and features of this device and then decide whether to buy.
Analyst Gene Munster believes that as Apple continue to release more details of this equipment, consumer will increase their interests to it.However, there is not detailed introduction for either Apple Watch or the compatibility of the third party applications, which are one of the key factors for consumers deciding whether to buy or not,so it is necessary for Apple to show more details to attract consumers in the future.
On the other hand, although Apple has not disclosed this new equipment's detailed price, but Gene Munster believes that its gross margin may reach 50% to 60%,among which Apple Watch Sport would be 30% to 40%,and Apple Watch Edition is expected to be over 60%.
On the basis of the prediction made by analyst before,if Apple Watch would be sold on the average price of 500$,and the sales volume would reach 10 million in 2015,then this device would contribute to Apple's revenue growth of 2%.
Now the year of 2015 is coming, but there is still not any news about the specific release date for Apple Watch, but I think it is not too far away.So do you plan to buy the iWatch?
