Users of Windows 10 Has Broken 100 Million since It Appeared in the Market

It is reported that over 100 million people have installed the Windows 10 though it is launched two months ago. According to the StatCounter, the market share of Windows has risen into the third, ranking behind Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

In the view of StatCounter, the market share of Windows 10 is 9.32% and Apple OS X ranks the second by means of 8.79% market share. At the same time, Windows XP still occupies the global market with 8.57%. Faced with such excellent scores, Windows said it mainly resulted from its free policy.

It is the free policy that makes Microsoft broke the record in a short time. Some official data shows users of Windows 10 reached 14 million within 24 hours. After one month, over 0.75 billion people has installed Windows 10. Anyway, it is magical and pleasing for Microsoft to gain such achievement in a short time.

The free policy indeed appeals to so many users. It is a successful case of marketing, isn’t it? There is no doubt that free policy successfully grasped the consumer psychology. Of course, the outcome has largely exceeded the expectation of Microsoft. Though it seems Microsoft made no earnings in the two months, it won so much attention.

Have you upgraded your computer to Windows 10? What do you think of it?
