The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus which have the
same screen sizes as last year's 6 and 6 Plus, at 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches
respectively, unveiled last week and available
for pre-order since Saturday, will come with 2GB of RAM – the memory available
to the phone's processor. That's twice as much as was fitted to the new
iPhones' predecessors, which should improve the speed and smoothness of their
operations.

new aluminum body means they are slightly thicker than 2014's iPhones, but
apart from that they are quite similar, though a new "rose gold" color

3D Touch technology lets you apply different levels of pressure to the iPhone's touchscreen to make
different choice, for example accessing a sub-menu or peeking at a photo or web
