BlackBerry Venice Was Revealed with Touch Screen, Type Cover and Slide

To some degree BlackBerry may not rival Samsung and Apple in the competitive market of smartphone, it is still seeking breakthrough and never gave up. As the old saying goes, god helps those who help themselves. Recently new product of BlackBerry—Venice was reported to rely on Android to improve market competitiveness.

From pictures online, we can find that BlackBerry Venice is a brand new mobile phone with touch screen. However, it didn’t abandon its tradition: QWERTY. Venice adopts design of sliding and users could type cover when pushing the touch screen. While the shortcoming is the space is too limited. So Venice looks strange a bit on the whole and the size is not big enough.

The other interesting design is curve of the edge of screen, similar with Samsung edge series. It is estimated Samsung and LG may be the producer of the screen of BlackBerry Venice. So the material of the screen is probably AMOLD, which has good effect on displaying. Nevertheless, there were not operating area of edge screen as Samsung edge series.

In terms of the interface, we can easily understand Android has been the new choice of BlackBerry. On contrast with unpopular BlackBerry 10, android may appeal to more customers. At the same time, the change may lose traditional customers of BlackBerry. After all, Venice has abandoned the style of BlackBerry to the bottom.
