May Apple set foot in the field of electric vehicle?

Nearly two months ago, Apple's operations Chief Jeff Williams took the biggest hint yet that the firm is developing a car. Speaking at the Code Conference, he was asked about Apple might pursue with its large cash hoard. His answer: 'The car is the ultimate mobile device.' Williams then quickly added: 'We're exploring a lot of different markets.'

He said that the deciding factor in choosing new businesses is not the opportunity for revenue growth, but 'which ones are ones we think we can make a huge amount of difference.'

The answer comes a few months after claims that Apple has several hundred employees working secretly toward an Apple-branded electric vehicle. However, when pressed, Williams referred to the potential for Car Play, a service introduced by Apple last year to allow drivers to access Apple services like iTunes music, maps and Siri through a vehicle's dashboard information system.

CarPlay features Siri voice control and is specially designed for driving scenarios. It also works with your car’s controls — knobs, buttons, or touchscreen. And the apps you want to use in the car have been reimagined, so you can use them while your eyes and hands stay where they belong.

However now there are new rumor revealed online that Apple employed many experts from Tesla, which probably meant Apple would be involved in the field of vehicle. And perhaps it will be electric vehicle.

It is said that Apple recently employed Doug Betts, who was the vice former president of Chrysler Corporation. And the most well-known one is Johann Jungwirth, who came from Mercedes-Benz. Now his position is superintendent of Mac system Project of Apple.

So now all the detail indicated that Apple has ambitions in setting foot in the field of vehicles. As their logo says: Here‘s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
