Some Common Problems about International Delivery--Chapter 2

Last week I had stated some package problems that may happen in the process of the international delivery. Today I will go on this topic to throw light upon some customs detention analysis.

1.      Some related expenses
Sometimes the destination is too remote to be beyond the scope of delivery service. And then goods are easy to be detained when going through customs. In this case, customer service phone is needed to follow up the whole process. Sometimes a single customs clearance will also lead to some trouble. Extra customs clearance fee has to be paid. To avoid this trouble, related principals must make it clear to check in all goods and delivery details in advance. These procedures and details also fit in the self-declaration.

2.      Flight issues
Some goods are detained just because of strict freight demands. Articles which are magnetic are prohibited to carry into plane. In terms of this, some goods must be degaussed before delivery. Of course package needs extra patience and proof of delivery security is essential in the process of delivery.

3.      Specific information about dispatch
That goods are detained by customs sometimes results from applying to the customs in wrong types. That is to say, information attached into the detailed list doesn't correspond into the actual goods. The solution is to correctly make list on classification methods of registration.

Above all we can find three aspects of detained customs types and some details in delivery. Actually there exists other situation that leads to goods-being-detained, such as ambiguous weight issues, vague transiting information and so on. So we really need to care about all details before delivery.
