IPhone 7c with 4 in. Screen Will probably Go on the Market next Spring

Not long ago it was reported iPhone 6c would be launced and even some relevant pictures appeared online. Though the authenticity has not been proved, some gossip from supply chain seemed to confirm the existence of this new iPhone. Besides, 4 in. control panel will be provided by Taiwan manufacturer AU Optronics Corporation.

Previously it is reported Apple will launch three kinds of iPhone and iPhone 6c will also be added in the plan. But later the analyst of KGI Guo Mingchi denied this statement. He said 4 in. control panel wouldn’t appear this year. However, it doesn’t mean this iPhone won’t be launched. According to the news from Taiwan supply chain, iPhone 7c will be on sale next spring.

As for the reason for choosing Taiwan AU Optronics Corporation, costs and the lack of spare capacity about control panel are the main elements. And Taiwan AU Optronics Corporation rightly had ever cooperated with Apple, so the deal went on naturally and smoothly.

In the opinion of Taiwan media, Optronics Corporation has designed the production line of LTPS to produce control panel. Before this, the suppliers of Apple’s control panel were JDI and LG.

Though the name of iPhone with 4 in. control panel has changed into iPhone 7c, the new iPhone may be supposed to the rumored iPhone 6c before. It is said new iPhone 7c will be equipped with Touch ID OmniPass and NFC technology. In addition, Gorilla glass-low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) touch screen panel will also be added into it. However, in consideration of costs and position, iPhone 7c will be equipped with A8 not A9.

In terms of some sources, the price of iPhone 7c will be the key of success. Some people said the price may be fixed from 400 to 500 dollars, which will not only satisfy the expectation of market but also guarantee enough profit of Apple.
